I am Max Fahlmark, founder and CEO of Fahlmarketing, a new age rep agency. I want to build a company that creatively serves the mobile technology and consumer electronics industries with a youthful and fresh perspective, while delivering superior service and continued training and education. I have a passion for all things music and technology. I am a drummer and have played in a band, done music for hire gigs and continually hone my skills as a musician. Don’t let my age fool you. I may be young, but I am not new to the game. I have been working with my dad, an old school manufacturers’ sales rep, since I was 14 years old. He taught me the business and told me that if I wanted to be the best, that I had to hustle and put the work in. No shortcuts. I am ready and will never be done learning.
My vision is to take an efficient and relevant approach to doing business using technology from operations to sales and marketing. I care about the environment, so we are paperless and do everything electronically. Selling today without the support of a digital presence online is a missed opportunity, especially in trying to reach the youth market both on a business side and on the consumer side. Our goal is to serve as a bridge to our brands and connect them to the youth market. We can do this because I grew up in this market and I have a strong understanding of how all the pieces fit together. We will continue to collaborate with our manufacturers, distributors, and dealers around how to take advantage of technology in their businesses to grow sales, all while making sales. Steve Fahlmark, principal of Midwest Sales group, is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. His passion for car audio and electronics grew into a successful career. He started on the retail floor of Y.E.S. Electronics, where he worked his way up to store manager. Steve’s desire to focus more on the business side led to his transition to Manufacturer Representative. Steve began with Brook Marketing, Inc, as an account executive, moved to Sales Network, Inc. and was then named Vice President of Leading Edge Sales and Marketing, Ltd. Throughout his experience as a Sales Representative, Steve has represented many premium lines such as Kenwood, Rockford Fosgate, Lightning Audio, JBL, Bazooka and Clarion. In 2003, Steve decided to start his own Rep Firm, and Midwest Sales Group was born. Steve has been providing outstanding service and support to his Midwest Sales Group manufacturers, dealers, and distributors for over 17 years. He helps the brands he represents build experience with end users.
